1. Care for your outdoor cushions

If you haven’t cleaned and packed up your outdoor cushions yet, now really is the time. Temperatures are dropping, the sun is hiding, and your beautiful (and expensive) patio cushions and furniture likely won’t survive the season if you leave them exposed.

When left to the elements, your cushions are susceptible to mould, algae, and rotting. If you need help cleaning and storing them, we can make sure they are fresh and ready for next year’s backyard season.

2. Prep indoor cushions for lazy days

Movie marathons, family game nights, getting lost in a good book… These are some of the best pleasures of winter, and they all take place on your couch. Get your upholstery ready for lazy evenings and weekends with a thorough cleaning.

If your sofas and chairs need more attention than your vacuum can handle, pro cleaning will remove any lingering smells, tackle stains, and create the perfect canvas for a magical season indoors. Learn more about why upholstery cleaning isn’t just for your grandma’s antique sofa.

3. Help rugs and carpets fight winter weather

outdoor cushion cleaning and storageIf winter brings wet, rainy weather to your part of the world, your carpets and rugs could be the ones to suffer from the dirt and mud that gets tracked into the house. If you’re enjoying pleasant, dry days (lucky you!), clean floors are still vital at this time of the year.

A deep clean of your carpets and rugs will refresh the vibe in your home, creating an atmosphere that feels relaxing and stress-free – just in time for the holiday chaos!

4. Clean mattress for cozy nights

Sleep well all winter long with peace of mind that your mattress is free of bacteria, dust, and other nightmarish allergens. As a rule, you should vacuum it every 2-3 months and rotate it every 3-6 months, to keep it clean and maintain its quality.

If you haven’t had it professionally cleaned in the last 6 months (or longer), consider booking in before the long nights kick in.

5. Get into the nooks and crannies

It’s almost time for the holiday decorations to get their debut, so make sure the stage is set – and sparkling clean! Take the time to dust and wipe down all the nooks and crannies, including shelves, windowsills, bannisters, and anywhere else you plan to display lights and other prized seasonal knickknacks.

6. Clear out the dryer vent

During the winter, when laundry loads get heavier from all those layers you’ve been wearing, it’s especially important to make sure your machines are clear and safe. As a bonus, your clothes and linens will smell fresher than ever – another great holiday indulgence!

We know how busy your winter agenda is, but making time to clean your space will pay off in the weeks ahead so you can truly enjoy being cozy at home with your loved ones. We’re here to ease the load in any way that we can – get in touch to chat with our friendly team.
