Pet hair is amazing at weaving itself into the fine spaces between fibers in your carpet, area rugs, and upholstered furniture. If you have ever had a hidden hair stuck inside your clothes, you understand!
At MNC we can remove most of this unwanted hair with the use of special grooming tools, high powered vacuums and specialized detergents that help loosen hair from surfaces, but it is not something that comes out during even the most aggressive cleaning - it needs special attention. Leave it to our dedicated technicians to leave your carpets and upholstery hair and dander free.
Pilling on furniture is caused primarily by friction between the fabric and other surfaces - like your skin, pets or clothing. The friction causes looks or broken fibers to tangle together, forming balls or “pills.”
Additional causes of pilling can be harsh detergents, high temperatures, or aggressive cleaning methods.
Pilling is most common on loose weave knit fabrics or on synthetic fibers such as those made from polyester, acrylic, nylon, or blends containing these fibers and from highly processed cellulosic fibers like rayon, viscose, bamboo silk. Even some natural fibers will pill - specifically low quality cotton and wool.
