How long until my carpet needs cleaning again?



Keeping your carpets professionally cleaned is critical for improving the air quality of your home or business.

We recommend the following:

Normal Climate – Every 6 Months
Dry Dusty – Every 2-3 Months
Cold – Every 3 Months
High Humidity – Every 2-3 Months.

Do you use harsh chemicals and products? What do you mean by "all natural"?



We started by using natural, non-toxic cleansers that are safe to use, safe to dispose of and won’t harm those living in the spaces we clean. We use products that are all Natural, Green Seal Certified, and/or are classified as non-hazardous/non-toxic. Our cleaning process improves air quality as we clean and we took it a step further by offering allergy treatments that continue to work for up to 6 months after our visit.

Our office and staff are committed to reducing our footprint by using paperless systems (including in our kitchen) recycling, composting and using high efficiency fixtures and appliances. Our vendors are local and green certified to support our community and reduce fuel consumption. We have also reduced our service area by a 20 radial miles to lessen our impact while on the road.

Do you do commercial cleaning too or just residential?



We provide cleaning services for both residential and commercial clients.

How long does cleaning take?



For carpets, cleaning generally takes just 20–25 minutes per room. Other cleaning, such as auto, RV, and boat cleaning, depends on how much cleaning needs to be done. When you request a quote, let us know exactly what needs to be done and we’ll provide an estimate!

Is this good value for my money or should I look elsewhere?



We invite you to read our reviews because our customers always appreciate how reasonable our prices are. We’re sure you’ve dealt with unprofessionalism in the past, but what our customers always appreciate is the politeness and professionalism of all of our technicians and team members.

Additionally, many companies do not not use the proper dilution for their cleansers, or use old or weak equipment which can leave behind residue that can attract more dirt after they’ve cleaned your carpet. What if I'm not happy with your cleaning?



Although so far we have had incredible satisfaction from our clients, we are a socially responsible company and understand that there are times when more needs to be done. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your cleaning, call us within 7 days of service and we will be more than happy to address any concerns you may have – even if that means an entire re-cleaning. At the end of the day, we are not happy until you are satisfied.

Why do I need to get my carpets professionally cleaned?



Each and every day, our carpet fibers absorb dirt and dust mites which can be hazardous to our health if inhaled for long periods of time. How long does it take to clean my carpets?



On average, it will take between 20-25 minutes per room. This time may vary depending on the condition of the carpets, the amount of furniture we need to move, hard stains or odor, and the level of cleaning and spot removal you choose. We do not charge any additional fee for moving small furniture such as side tables, coffee tables, chairs etc.

Is it true that cleaning my carpets make them soil faster?



Is it possible for both my area rug and carpet it sits on to be cleaned at the same time?



No. We don’t recommend cleaning area rugs on site. One of the steps in cleaning an area rug is to remove the dry soil. We can get a full quart size bag of soil out of a 5×7 rug during a yearly dusting at our plant!

If you try to clean an area rug the same way you clean wall to wall carpet, the results are a polished surface and wet dirt trapped in the weave. Visit our blog about area rugs to understand the full process.

In cases where we can clean your rug onsite, it needs to be dried in a separate area to allow the carpet under it to dry completely. Area Rugs cannot be cleaned on top of your hard wood floors.

Do I have to be home while my carpets are being clean?



It is not necessary that you be home during your cleaning because we are thoroughly trained professionals you can trust. In order to provide the best possible service, we do ask that someone be home before we begin cleaning to discuss any specific needs or areas of concern regarding the care of your carpet. It is also important to be present for our post check to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

How often should I get my carpets professionally cleaned?



Normal Climate – 6 Months

How long does it take for my carpets to dry?



Drying time depends mostly on humidity climate levels, airflow to the areas cleaned, and the type of carpet. The average drying time for our cleaning is 2-4 hours with our truck mount, and 4-12 hours with our portable – we highly recommended that you turn on your air conditioning system or open windows throughout the house to help speed the process significantly. Some carpets however do take longer to dry due to the fabrics and materials they are made from.

If, after 12 hours the carpets are still slightly damp, it is ok. If they are still wet, please contact us immediately. High Traffic Areas and those that have been treated for stains will take longer to dry than the rest of the carpet.

Do I have to wait 2-4 hours before walking on my carpets?



You may walk on your carpets immediately after cleaning; however we ask that you avoid wearing shoes on the carpets for the first few hours to prevent re-soiling them while they are still damp. The less you walk on them, the better, as too much foot traffic on wet carpets can cause a wicking effect and pull dirt up to the surface from below where our equipment can reach.

What should I do if a stain or spot reappears after the cleaning?



Although on average 99% of all spots that are removed from your carpets will not reappear, some matter in the carpet backing may rise to the surface after cleaning. In order to maintain your carpets between cleaning, we recommend that you vacuum heavy traffic areas, like the living room or playroom, at least twice a week and the less frequently used areas at least once a week. Do I need to have my upholstered furniture professionally cleaned?



Yes. Having your upholstered furniture professionally cleaned by Mother Nature’s Carpet Cleaning on a regular basis has three important advantages:

One – Our professional cleaning method helps prevent irreversible damage to upholstered fabric such as color fading, by extracting very small soil particles that, when left untouched, slowly scratch and permanently damage the appearance and feel of your upholstered furniture.

The more air flow that is allowed to enter the space, the faster all of your furniture will dry.

What is fabric protector?



Fabric protector is a spray applied on to your furniture after cleaning. Why not just wash my cushion covers in the washing machine?


