They are easy to maintain, but are still porous and require deep cleaning to remove bacteria, dirt, oil and grease that gets ground in when you walk on it. (Not to mention anything that is brought in on the bottom of your shoes – yuck.)

Mother Nature’s Cleaning recommends having your tile floors cleaned annually to maintain their new appearance and sheen. Our rotary tile scrub using hot water and natural cleansers will remove the residue deep down in the tile. How We Clean Tile and Grout

CLEANING:

We will give your porcelain or ceramic flooring a proper bath with a 15-minute warm soak, rotary scrub, fresh water rinse and finally spot touch ups on any grout stains. If you are not sure whether your tile is ceramic/porcelain or natural stone, look for repeating patterns or consistent color rather than the unique patterns and color variation you would see in natural stone.

RESTORATION:

We also offer grout restoration for floors that have gone too long between cleanings. The cleansers are hand applied and scrubbed to brighten even the dingiest of grout lines. Our standard cleaning method may not lighten stained grout lines, so if your grout is particularly dirty, ask us about this service.

SEALER:

Tile and Grout sealer is worn off each time you mop your floors, and our thorough cleaning will definitely finish that job. We also offer grout sealer as an optional treatment, if you would like your grout resealed after the cleaning. Please note that sealer cannot be applied to wet grout, so this may require a return visit.

Natural Stone is typically sealed when installed new. It wears off over time and needs to be reapplied after a tile and grout

cleaning to maintain its sheen and stain resistance. If you are not sure whether your tile is natural or man-made, look for unique patterns and color variation in each tile and grout rather than repeating patterns or consistent color.

Our standard tile and grout cleaning method will scrub the tile and grout and we will reseal both. At this time we do not offer honing, buffing, or polishing services. If the floor has not been regularly maintained, we would recommend you attend to those steps prior to the cleaning in order to prepare the surface for best results.
